Young Hindu hears the gospel and is saved

Glory be to God! I was born in a Hindu family. In April, 1984, my present Pastor met me at my home and gave me a small leaflet which was about Jesus, but I did not have any interest to read it. Once, when my friends insisted me to come for a vigil night prayer I had to give positive response. The praising, the unity and the love of the young people who were present in the vigil really touched my heart. After this, I attended few Sunday evening services. One day,in June 1984, when Pastor was preaching the message about the crucifiction, I began to cry. I was convinced that Jesus died for me and He can forgive my sins.

I accepted Him as my Saviour and I got saved. Nine years later my brother and sisters got saved. My eldest sister's children are attending the sunday school as well as the youth meetings. Praise be to God for His grace and mercy. The Lord Jesus is my "everything".

God provided me the opportunity to gain knowledge at the Western Pentecostal bible College, BC, Canada, for which I am grateful to Him forever.

Now I am working in the youth as a youth counselor. I take bible classes and cell groups. Praise be to God for what He has done in my life. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose" (Ro 8:28).

May God bless the readers abundantly.
