Jesus heals man of Pervasive Developmental Disorder & Schizophrenia
I had been going to see all kinds of shrinks and therapists and clinic
type people ever since I was a toddler. Fortunately, we could afford
it, since my dad was an LAPD detective. I had been diagnosed with PDD
(Pervasive Developmental Disorder) at age 4; PDD is very closely
related to autism.
Then at age 13, I was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Upon entering 9th
grade I was put in a segregated class with all the
dysfunctional/criminal kids (God bless every one of 'em, my heart
bleeds for them to this day). I spiraled downwards.
I was beyond the borderline of legal insanity. The medication made me
a zombie, which was the only option to keep me from getting
ultra-violent. I narrowly avoided being institutionalized.
I got saved at a youth ministry called Impact, who's specialty was kids
sort of like the ones in the class I was in. The change was immediate,
and I began to improve dramatically, but the symptoms still held on.
Then I was at a youth retreat for Teen Challenge Orange County. They
prayed over me near the end of the service, and I was healed. I was
healed indeed.The symptoms never came back.
I thank the Lord 100% first and foremost, and I thank all the people
that believed in me no matter what the 'professionals' thought.
